Privacy Policy

LifeMetricOS (“the app,” “we,” “us”) is a personal dashboard for tracking your classes, coursework, and student finances. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the control you have over your data.
Information we collect
- Account information. Your email address and basic profile details, handled by our authentication provider (Clerk). If you sign in with Google, we receive your email and name from Google — never your Google password.
- Data you enter. Everything you choose to track — classes, grades, assignments, study time, study sets and practice-test scores, income, bills, debts, savings, transactions, tasks, and calendar events.
- Connected calendars. If you add an external calendar (iCal) link, we fetch its events to display them in the app.
How we use your information
We use your information solely to provide the app's features — to store, display, and calculate your dashboards, grades, budgets, and progress. We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising.
Where your data is stored
Your data is stored in a secured PostgreSQL database (hosted by Neon) and served through our hosting provider (Vercel). Authentication is managed by Clerk. These providers process data on our behalf under their own security and privacy commitments.
Academic & financial data
Your grades, coursework, study material, and financial information are stored only to power the app's features for you. They are never shared with third parties or used for any purpose beyond providing the app. We never ask for or store bank logins — spending is imported by pasting a statement you already have.
Deleting your data
You can permanently delete your account at any time from Settings → Delete account. Deleting your account immediately removes your profile and all associated data (classes, study sets, money, tasks, and calendar entries) from our database, and deletes your login identity from our authentication provider. This action cannot be undone.
Children's privacy
The app is intended for users 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above.
